Clearing the Browser Cache
     
  Internet Explorer - 2 methods to choose from:


IBM compatibles / Internet Explorer browser is Not Open:

1. Double left-click Start Menu on Desktop

2. Double left-click Control Panel

3. Double left-click Internet Properties or Network and Internet Connections (for Windows XP)

4. Left-click General tab or Internet Options

5. In Temporary Internet Files area: Left-click Delete Files button

6. Below this, left-click Clear History button

7. Left-click OK


IBM compatibles / Internet Explorer browser is Open:

1. Left-click Tools in menu bar

2. Left-click Internet Options...

3. Left-click General tab

4. In Temporary Internet Files area: Left-click Delete Files button

5. Below this, left-click Clear History button

6. Left-click OK

     
     
 

Netscape Navigator:
To retrieve an up-to-date version of a web site:

Left-click Reload button while holding down the Shift key (Option key on Macintosh)

Netscape will retrieve a copy from the network server without regard to the cache

     
     
  IBM compatibles and Macintosh / Netscape Navigator is Open:

1. Left-click on Options in the menu bar

2. Left-click Network Preferences

3. Left-click Clear Memory Cache Now button.

4. Left-click Clear Disk Cache Now button

5. Left-click OK
