MS Word Import Clipart
   
To Add Clipart (pictures) from another hard drive, diskette, CD-ROM, or another media source.
  1. Open Microsoft Word (Left-click Start, Programs, Word).

2. Place your cursor at the insertion point in the document - where you want to add the clipart.

3. Left -click Insert on the menu bar.

4. Left-click Picture from drop-down menu.

5. Left-click From File…This takes you to the Insert Picture screen. Clip art you have on your hard drive, diskettes or another media source will require that you choose the correct drive location.

6. Left-click a file name, (example - flower.gif) in the folder -to preview the clip art on the right-hand side of the screen.

7. After finding the clip art picture you want, left-click the Insert button to transfer the picture to your document.

   
To Insert Preloaded Microsoft ClipArt
  1. Open Microsoft Word (Left-click Start, Programs, Word)..

2. Place your cursor at the insertion point in the document - where you want to add the clipart.

3. Left -click Insert on the menu bar.

4. Left-click Picture from drop-down menu.

5. Left-click Clip Art…You will see the Additional Clips are Available on CD-ROM dialog box.

 
   
  1. Left-click the OK button to bypass the dialog box and get to the Insert Picture screen.

2. In Insert Picture screen, under Clipart, All Categories, left-click a category (example Business) to preview the pictures it contains.

3. Left-click to choose a picture from those shown on the right side of screen.
Note: You can scroll down to see more pictures, if more than what can fit on the screen exist, by left-clicking the scroll bar to the right of pictures and dragging it downward.

4. Left-click the Insert button to place the picture in your document.
