Enabling Tab Settings in Internet Explorer 7

The end-user functionality for Internet Explorer 7 (IE7) has not changed much compared to Internet Explorer 6 (IE6). One major difference is the use of tabs for browsing. Perform the steps below to ensure all your Internet services such as Lotus Mail, Blackboard, Webstudent, etc., function as they did with Internet Explorer 6 (IE6).

1). In the IE7 browser window, select Tools > Internet options from the Tools button.

2). With the General tab selected, click on Settings under the Tabs area.

3). Review the options selected in the Tabbed Browsing Settings window below. Make sure your settings match what is selected in the figure. To enable or disable an option, click on the box or radio button to the left of the option.
(Note: A checkmark indicates an option is enabled. No checkmark means the option is not enabled. If the radio button is filled in, the option is selected.)

4). Click on the OK button when you've completed your selections.
