One of the major enhancements with Internet Explorer 7 is the ability to navigate through the use of tabs. Instead of opening new browser windows, you can use one Internet Explorer window to view all your web pages.
To browse multiple web pages using tabs, click on the new tab layer. Your address bar
will be selected and you can begin typing the web address.
The screen below shows three web sites opened in the browser window on multiple tabs.
To navigate to another site, click on the appropriate tab.
To close a web page, click on the “X” on the page's tab.
You can also see a thumbnail view of all opened web pages by clicking on the Quick Tab View button.
RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. This is the technology used for pod-casting and receiving automatic updates for news and information. If a particularly web site has RSS feeds, the button in the IE7 toolbar will be available (not dimmed). You can click on that button to subscribe to those RSS feeds.
