Scanning a Picture Using an HP ScanJet Scanner |
| 1) Place photo in scanner on top left portion of glass. Close the lid. | |
| 2) Double-Click on HP Photo Imaging Icon on Desktop |  |
3) Scroll Down to Browse to and select your H Drive, which is at the bottom of the left frame 4) Click Scan Button |

| 5) Select TWAIN scanner in the Select Source window |  |
6) You can drag the black squares to select more or less of the image to be scanned. Normally, the default will scan the full page. 7) Click Accept 8) The image will then be scanned into HP Photo & Scanning Software and you will have a thumbnail (small picture) of the image you just scanned. |

9) Double-Click the thumbnail and the image will open up larger in "HP Image Editor." 10) From the HP Image Editor, you can adjust brightness, crop, resize your image. 11) Click Save As button to save your image as a JPG file for uploading to E-Portfolio. 12) Make sure you are saving to your H Drive. 13) Change the file type to JPEG 14) Click Save button |
