Known Compatibility Issues with Vista

To date we have had several commonly reported problems.  These include:

Replying to an email message in Lotus using Vista and IE7
Lotus users are unable to reply to emails when using Vista and IE7. This problem will be patched by Lotus in April, but until then, the user can select FORMAT, and choose 'plain text' to be able to respond.

Office 2003 not reading documents made in Office 2007
If someone sends you a file created with the new Office 2007 and you are using Office 2003, you may not be able to open the file. Office 2007 has different file formats that are not recognized in lower versions of the software.  In order to open Office 2007 files when using a lower version, you need to install Microsoft's compatibility pack software. It's a free download from the Microsoft site.  You can click this link to install the program: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=941B3470-3AE9-4AEE-8F43-C6BB74CD1466&displaylang=en.
After you install the compatibility pack, you should be able to open the files created with Office 2007.
