This newsletter highlights the many, many improvements made to campus technology over the summer at Carlow.

As you read this newsletter, you will learn about smart classrooms, the wireless network expansion, the new speaker systems, the new speech labs, the summer institutes, and much, much more.

None of this would be possible without the hard work of each and every member of the I.T. department. I'd like to offer my sincere appreciation for the countless hours that the staff put into planning and implementing each and every one of our 108 summer projects. This was by far our most exciting and most project filled summer ever and they all deserve a huge round of applause!

This summer, new speaker systems were installed in St. Agnes and the AJP foyer. This will enable large campus events to choose from several venues on campus and will also create better quality sound throughout these locations.

In addition, Antonian Theatre was outfitted with a 1,100 pound, 18 foot wide, motorized screen and a new projector. The DVD/VCR, projector, and PC port were tied into the theatre sound system as well. This will enable presentations and movies to be shown in this theatre for a variety of events.
