Creating and Renaming Mail Folders
   
 

As your inbox grows in size, you may want to organize messages by person or by subject.
You can create folders to organize your mail messages. You can also rename mail folders.

Create a New Mail Folder

1). Point your mouse over the New button.
Select Folder from the drop down list.

 

 

2). In the pop-up box, Enter a name for the folder. Click OK

 

 

Please Note:
To create a sub-folder, click on the + sign to create a folder within the parent folder.
Highlight the name of the folder that you want to save the sub-folder under.
Click Ok
.

 

Viewing Mail Folders

1). To view the folders in your mailbox, click on the + to the left of the word Folders.

 

 

2). Click on the + sign next to the parent folder (example “Lotus”) to see the new subfolder (example “Lotus Notes Documentation”).

 

3). Click on the Name of the sub-folder (example “Lotus Notes Documentation”) to view the contents of the folder

 


Renaming a Folder

1). Right-click the name of the folder you want to rename.
Select Rename Folder from the drop down list.

 

2). Enter the new name in the pop-up window
Click Ok
