Sending Emails Campus Wide
   
 

You can send a message to all Carlow faculty, staff, students, campus school employees and the Sisters of Mercy. You can find an explanation of who is on the different lists and what they are used for here.

 

1). Create a new mail message:
-Click on the New button.
-Select Message from the drop down list.

Type the addresses below to send an e-mail to the following campus groups:
  Faculty: faculty-list@lists.carlow.edu
  Staff: staff-list@lists.carlow.edu
  Students: student-list@lists.carlow.edu
  Campus School: cs-list@lists.carlow.edu
  Sisters of Mercy: sm-list@lists.carlow.edu
  Adjunct Faculty: adjunct-list@lists.carlow.edu
**NOTE:You must include the '@lists.carlow.edu' in the addresses. You will not find these lists in the Lotus Directory.

 

 

2). In the To: box type:
faculty-list@lists.carlow.edu, staff-list@lists.carlow.edu, student-list@lists.carlow.edu, cs-list@lists.carlow.edu, sm-list@lists.carlow.edu, adjunct-faculty@lists.carlow.edu

Note: You need to put a comma in between each group.
Note: You can select one group to send the message to – for example if you only want to send your message to faculty, type
faculty-list@lists.carlow.edu in the To: box.
Note: The student list is moderated; your message will first be sent to the moderators of the list to approve it before it is sent to all students.

3). Finish the email:
-Type in a Subject.
-Type in a Message.
-Click the Send button.
