Adding an E-mail Message to a To Do Entry
   
 

You can add an e-mail message to your To Do list.

1). Double click on a message to open the message

2). Point to the Tools tab

3). Select Copy Into New To Do Entry from the drop down list

The Personal To Do dialog box will be displayed on the screen
The Subject is automatically entered, based on the e-mail message subject (you can edit the subject line)

4). Enter a Start and Due Date or click the down arrow to use the date picker
Select any of the following options (optional)
- Status (current, overdue, rejected, future)
- Category (select a predefined category)
- Priority (high, medium, low, none)

Note: when you create a To Do item, it appears in your Calendar on the start date

Confidential
- check this to prevent people who have access to your calendar from reading the contents of entries marked confidential

Milestone
- mark only one day in the schedule, end day will always match the start date, may
be used to indicate progress points in long projects

5). The Message Area will display the original mail message
You can edit the message area and make additional notes to yourself about the to do item, in the message area
You can also Add Attachments to this calendar entry

Click Save & Close

6). The new To Do Entry will now be listed in your To Do List
(Click on the To Do Tab to view your To Do List)
